If co interior angles are supplementary, lines are parallel. However here, 108+71≠180

Thus lines are not parallel

Given x = 71° , y = 108°

Sum of the interior angles


same side of the transversal


= 180° , then the lines are parallel.


********************************


x + y


= 71° + 108°


= 179°


Therefore ,


m is not parallel to n .
