In the given figure PQ || BC, PQ = 3 cm, BC = 9 cm and AC = 7.5 cm the length of AQ is 2.5cm.

Given that,

In the given figure PQ || BC, PQ = 3 cm, BC = 9 cm and AC = 7.5 cm.

We have to find the side of AQ.

We know that,

From basic proportional theorem,

When ABC is a triangle with P and Q are midpoints of the sides AB and AC

So, The PQ line is parallel to BC

PQ = 3cm and BC = 9cm

AC = 7.5cm

So,

\frac{PQ}{BC} = \frac{AQ}{AC}

\frac{3}{9} = \frac{AQ}{7.5}

\frac{1}{3}  = \frac{AQ}{7.5}

AQ = 2.5 cm

Therefore, In the given figure PQ || BC, PQ = 3 cm, BC = 9 cm and AC = 7.5 cm the length of AQ is 2.5cm.
