and

From the given figure
We notice that
The Vertically opposite angle of y is also equal to y
then y and z are interior angles on the same side to the transversal which are supplementary.
=> y+z = 180°
=> 3a°+7a° = 180°
=> 10a° = 180°
=> a° = 180°/10
=> a° = 18°
Therefore, a° = 18°
Now,
y = 3a° = 3(18°) = 54°
z = 7a° = 7(18°) = 126°
and
x and y are interior angles on the same side to the transversal which are supplementary.
x+y = 180°
=> x+54° = 180°
=> x = 180°-54°
=> x = 126°
Therefore , x = 54°
