In the question,

We have been provided that,

Δ ABE ≅ Δ ACD

Now,

As both the triangles are congruent, we can say that,

AB = AC ...........(1)

and,

AE = AD

or,

AD = AE .............(2)

Therefore, on dividing the eqn. (1) by eqn. (2), we get,

\frac{AB}{AD}=\frac{AC}{AE}

Now, in the triangle ADE and triangle ABC, we can consider that,

As,

\frac{AB}{AD}=\frac{AC}{AE}

also,

∠A = ∠A (Common to both the triangles)

Therefore,

Δ ADE ~ ΔABC

By SAS similarity.

Therefore, we can say that,

Δ ADE is similar to Δ ABC.

Hence, Proved.
