in figure 6, ABCD is a parallelogram where CE AB produced and BF AD
i. if AB=20 cm, AD=16 cm and CE=10 cm then find BF
ii. if AB=30 cm, CE=14 cm and BF=20 cm, then find AD​

i.area of parallelogram =bxh=20x10=200cm²

area of parallelogram=ADXBF

=> 200=16×BF

=>200/16=BF

=>12.5=BF.

●BF is equal to 12.5cm.

ii.area of parallelogram=bxh=30x14=420cm²

area of parallelogram=ADXBF

=>420=ADX20

=>420/20=AD

=>42/2=AD

=>21=AD.

●AD is equal to 21cm
