AB || CD

So x = 70° ( Alternate interior angles )

similarly z = angle PRQ

Now using property of linear pair

z + 100° = 180°

z = 80°

Now angle x + y +z = 180

70° + y + 80° = 180

so y = 30°

AB || CD

So, x = 80° ( Alternate interior angles )

similarly z = 40° ( Alternate interior angles )

Now angle 80° + y + 40° = 180

y = 60°

Given :- AB||CD

Now,

x = 70° ( Alternate interior angle)

APR = 100°

APR = APQ + angle y

APQ + y = 100°

70 + y = 100

y = 100 - 70

y = 30°

Now,

z + PRD = 180° (some safe of interior angle )

z + 100 = 180°

z = 180 - 100

z = 80°

7(B)

Given:- AB||CD

Now,

x = 80° ( Alternate interior angle)

z = 40°

So,

80 + y + 40 = 180°

y = 80 + 40 = 180°

y = 180 - 120

y = 60°
