Answer:

angle x will be 180-110 because XBC is forming a straight ANgle

then x = 70

x +y +40 = 180 (angel sum property of triangle)

y = 180 -110 = 70

although angle x and y are equal equal sides are AB and AC.

Angle abc + angle abc = 180. (Linear pair)
110+angle abc =180
Angle abc=70
In triangle abc
A+b+c=180
40+70+c=180
110+c=180
C=70
