Answer:

In the given figure, we get two triangles

∆ABE and ∆CBD

Now,

In ∆ABE and ∆CBD,

AB= BC (given)

AD= EC (given)

angle B= angle B (common)

So, we can say that

∆ABE is congruent to ∆CBD ( by SAS rule of congruency)

Hence proved
