Step 1:

A x + bx = c y + b y

Step 2:

As b x = b y

Step 3:

A x + by = c y + b y  

Step 4:

Bring by to the right hand side, so the + by changed to – by.

A x = c y + b y - by

So it become

A X =  C Y

Hence proved.
