The total sum of angles of a quadrilateral = 360 degree —-(1)

Given: angle DEA = 120 degree

angle EAD = 90 degree ( AE is perpendicular to AB)

angle EDC or angle ECD = x ( EDC = ECD)

120 + 90 + 90 + x = 360 degree  

300 + x = 360 degree

x = 60 degree

Therefore angle ECD = 60 degree
