In figure ABC is such that
BD perpendicular AC and CE perpendicular AB.
Prove that PD X BP = PC X EP.​

Answer goes this way :-

In ∆BEP AND ∆CDP

angle E = angle D ( each 90°)

angle EPB = angle DPC (vertically opposite angles )

Therefore ∆ BEP is simar to ∆CDP

BY AA SIMILARITY RULE

Therefore

EP/DP = BP/CP

HENCE

PD × BP = PC × EP

Hence proved .
