Answer:

AB=CD=16cm

area of parallelogram=b×h

area of ABCD=CD×AE=AD×CF

16×8=AD×10

128=AD×10

12.8=AD

AnsWer:-

AD = 12.8cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • AE = 8cm
  • CF = 10cm
  • AB = 16cm

Need to find:-

  • Length of AD

Formula used:-

  • area of llgm = base×height

SOLUTION:-

As we know that,

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Putting values in this formula,

We get;

ar (llgm ABCD) => BC × AE

=> 16×8cm²

=> 128cm²

Therefore,

AE = 8cm --->1

Now,

ar (llgm ABCD) = AD ×CF = AD×10

From eq. 1,we have

=> 16×8 = AD×10

=> AD = 16×8/10

=> AD = 128/10

=> AD = 12.8cm

Hence, AD = 12.8cm.
