Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

___________________________

We have been given:-

AD = BC

AD || DC

We also know that any quadrilateral is a parallelogram if a pair of its sides is equal and parallel.

Here, both the conditions are satisfied.

So, we can say that ABCD is a ||gm.

That means AB = DC because it is a pair of opposite sides of a parallelogram.

Now, in ΔABC and ΔCDA:-

AB = CD (Already Proved)

∠A = ∠C  (Opposite angles of a Parallelogram)

AD = BC (Given)

So, ΔABC ≅ ΔCDA ( by SAS congrunecy)

SAS congruency has been used because we had two pair of two sides and an angle between them equal.
