i got it!!...since velocity is vector quantity means have magnitude and direction so, when we take whole journey so from O to A it's+ve whereas in A to B it's-ve and when we take whole we get velocity 0

So we can conclude that acceleration decreases from o to a and acceleration increases from a to b
yup!...because acceleration means increase in velocity and velocity increased from O to A while decreased from A to B
