Let the point where x lies be A and the remaining point of the triangle be B.

Let the line be XY.

Here ∠BOA=100

∠BAY= x

∠OAY=90 (Tangents make 90° with radius)

so ∠OAB= 90-x.

∠OAB=∠OBA (OA=OB(radius), so the angles are equal.)

In ΔOAB;

100+ (90-x)+(90-x)= 180

280-2x= 180

-2x= -100

x=50.
