⇒ (2x + 4)° + (x - 1)° = 180°

⇒ 2x° + 4° + x° - 1° = 180°

⇒  3x° + 3° = 180°

⇒ 3x° = 177°

⇒ x° = 177° ÷ 3

⇒ x° = 59°

x = 59

Answer⇒ x = 59

Verification:-

(2x + 4)° + (x - 1)°

  • Substitute x = 59

(2(59) + 4)° + (59 - 1)°

⇒ (118 + 4)° + (58)°

⇒ (122)° + 58°
