Given, AD=6cm, DB=9cm, AE=8cm, EC=12cm and ∠ADE=48°

AD/DB = 6/2 =2/3

similarly, AE/EC = 8/12 =2/3

∴AD/DB = AE/EC (from above)

Therefore, DE║BC (Converse of BPT)

So, ∠ADE=∠ABC=48°
