see if angle acs is 117 then angle acb is 180-117 (supplementary angle)
=63 degree
If angle pab is 60 then angle x will also be 60 (alternate interior angles)
so angle y will be 180-(60+63) ( angle sum property of triangle)
so y is 180-123
=57
so x-y will be 60-57
=3..
Hope it helps

Answer:

The value of x-y is 3°.

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the data given in the question

we have to find the value of (x-y)

As per the question

It is given that PQ || RS then angle PAB=60°and angle ACS=117°.

From the picture it is clear that ∠PAC=∠ACS. [ Alternate angles]

so, ∠PAC = 60°+y and ∠ACS = 117°

As we know that 60°+y = 117°

⇒y= 57°

As we know from triangle ∠ACB+∠ACS=180°

⇒∠ACB= 63°

so, x+57°+63°=180° (Sum of three angle of a Triangle = 180°)

⇒x=180°-120°=60°

As per the question x-y = 60°-57°=3°

Hence, the value of x-y is 3°.
