Solution:

Given: Area of ||gm = 30 cm^2.

AD=6 cm

then, BC=6 cm

(opposite sides of ||gm are equal)

In the given figure AQ is the height and BC is the base.

We know that,

Area of ||gm = b×h

30cm^2 = BC×AQ

30cm^2 = 6×AQ

AQ=30/6

AQ=5 cm
