b+a=180 (linear pair angles)
b+35=180
b=180-35
b=145
c=b=145 (vertically opposite angles are equal)

Answer 2

a=c=35° since vertically opposite angles
a+b=180° form a st.line
=>35°+b=180°
=>b=145°
And b=d=145° vertically opposite angles
