By tangent theorem-It states that a line is a tangent to a circle if and only if the line is perpendicular to the radius drawn to the point of tangency
PT perpendicular to TB -> Angle PTB=90
So triangle PTB is rt angled triangle at T
Hence in PTB
Cos 60= PT/PB=6/PB
6=xcos 60
On solving
X=12 cm
Thus PB=12 cm
