In figure, side BC of △ABC is produced to D such that ACD = 75°. If ∠BAC = 15°, find ∠ABC and ∠ACB.

angle ABC =sum of all the angles =180°

=180°=(105°+15°)

Sol: In ABC , By Exterior angle property ;

Exterior angle = The sum of opposite interior angle

ACD = ABC + BAC

135° = X + 60°

135° - 60° = X

75° = X

OR , X =75°

Now , By linear pair property ;

ACB + ACD =180°Y + 135° = 180°

Y = 180° - 135°

Y = 45°
