∴ Required area = 1/3 (Area of the circle - Area of Δ ABC)

⇒ Required area = 1/3 [πR2 − ✓3/4 ×(sides)2]

⇒ Required area = 1/3 [16π − √3/4 × (4√3) 2]

⇒ Required area = 1/3 (16π − 12√3)cm2 = 4/3(4π − 3√3)cm2
