In fission of one uranium_235 nucleus,the loss in Mass is 0.2a.m.u. calculate the energy realsed.

During nuclear fission reaction mass defect is converted into energy release=0.2a.m.u

So,E=O.2×931=186.2Mev(1a.m.u=931Mev)
