Then the denominator will be 2x
New numerator =x+3
New denominator =2x+3
x+3/2x+3=2/3
X=3
2x=2*3=6
The fraction becomes 3/6
Which is 1/2
Then the denominator will be 2x
New numerator =x+3
New denominator =2x+3
x+3/2x+3=2/3
X=3
2x=2*3=6
The fraction becomes 3/6
Which is 1/2
