In Fraunhofer's single slit diffraction experiment, how does semi angular width 'theta' of the central bright fringe depend of slit width 'a'?

I need accurate answers please ❤️❤️❤️

Answer:

In Fraunhofer diffraction, b sinθ=nλ

where b is the width of slit, λ is the wavelength of light used.

For central bright fringe, n=1

⟹ b sinθ=λ

Thus angular width of central bright width =2sinθ=

b

So, angular width of central bright fringe will decrease when the width of slit is increased.

the width of the central diffraction maximum is inversely proportional to the width of the slit. If we increase the width size, a, the angle T at which the intensity first becomes zero decreases, resulting in a narrower central band.

The angular width of the central maximum in a single slit diffraction pattern is 60o. The width of the slit is 1 μm. The slit is illuminated by monochromatic plane waves. If another slit of same width is made near it, Young's fringes can be observed on a screen placed at a distance 50cm from the slits

I hope this answer help you frnd

pls thanks my answer

So, did you complete tokyo ghoul first season?

there is this ken kaneki wallpaper which I found pretty awesome and it was my pfp for few weeks
