(b) between 2 and 4 in all cases

The correct option is (a) between 0 and 1 in all cases.
Freundlich Adsorption Isotherm is a graphical depiction between amount of gas adsorbed w.r.t. Pressure at constant temperature.
The concept of F's A isotherm is limited to certain parameters, meaning that it has it's own constraints of pressure range. The term 1/n can only take the values from 0 to 1 as a result.
Now, when the value of 1/n is 0, the adsorption rate or the entity of x/m becomes constant, making the adsorption process independent of pressure changes.
And when the term 1/n is 1, the x/m becomes equal to KP making the process directly proportional to P ( Pressure ).
