It is better not to interfere in prey-predator business. I will tell you why.

Idea of fairness and unfairness in nature is different than what we humans think.

Snakes or any animal which eats other animals will eat only when needed, only when hungry. They don't accumulate like we humans do. (Well, some insects/creatures do that is completely for a different reason, to save some things for rainy day). If every frog is saved, snake will starve, if snakes starve snakes die, frog population increases, frogs eat more insects and this continues... then there would be imbalance in ecosystem chain.

On contrary to this logic, if it was your dog and anaconda was eating it up, then you might want to save your dog.
