Hi,

Yes this statement is true.

The conventional fuels like petrol, diesel, coal etc. are widely used nowadays nand there is a stock of that which will finish in future.

Natural resources like wind, solar, water cant be finished and those are non conventional fuels.

Consumption of energy increased and population increased too. that's why we need to reduce our energy supply by using "non conventional energy sources".

The use of conventional fuels that is petrol, coal etc. has reached to such extent at this present time that they can get extinct.

The conventional fuels have been the main source of energy as fuel for the automobiles and other vehicle, as cooking fuel in rural areas.

Their excessive usage also adds on to the environmental pollution which in turn adds on to the global warming.

Hencethe statement is totally true and agreeable that in future a time will come when we have to depend upon the conventional sources of energy such as solar energy, hydraulic energy, wind energy etc. these are the forms of energy that will never get extinct nor will harm our environment. By the time we would already have damaged our environment.
