In general cell sizes are not related to the size of an organism.However, will there be a difference in the length of the nerve cells in a rat and giraffe????? hope its anwered soon!!!

Size of the cell is not related to the size of the organism but it is entirely dependent on the complexity of the body metabolism.

As a matter of fact, the position of motor and sensory nerves may also have an impact on the length of the neuron. It is not necessary that the length of the neurons will be the longest in the body of a giraffe.

Since the spinal cord of a giraffe is much longer [up to 2.6m]than that of a rat , the nerve cells are also longer
