Given. ar= 6.........(1)
ar^4= 48............(2)
Solution:
ar^ 4/ar= 48/6
r^3= 8
r= 2.
so common ratio is 2.
Substituting the value of r in eqn (1),
a×2= 6
a= 6/2
a= 3
so, first term is 3
Tn= ar^ 9
Tn= 3×2^9
Tn = 3×512
Tn = 1536. Answer.
