in given figure De is parallel to ab ad is equal to 7 cm CD is equal to 5 cm and BC is equal to 18 cm find BC

Answer:

Since DE is parallel to AB,

By BPT,

Triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEC.

Thus,

CD/DA=CE/EB

7x+5x = 18

X= 3/2

Ce= 5x = 15/2cm

Be=21/2cm
