Heron’s Formula: Formula deduced by a Greek mathematician, Heron for finding the area of a triangle where, it's sides are given. He said that:-

Area of Triangle:-

 \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

where,

  •  s = Semi - Perimeter,
  •  a,b,c = Sides of the triangle.

It is mainly used for finding area of a scalene triangle where sides are given.

Required Content:-

  • s is the semi - perimeter of the triangle (half of perimeter).
