Take out a separate sheet of paper and write 4 sentences. They can be about anything. Describe your breakfast, it doesn't matter. When you are done, count the number of words on each line.

When I was in class 7, I wrote with really small print and averaged 14-20 words per line. At 15 words per line, it takes 20 lines to reach 300 word count. Most of my friends printed slightly large and got about 12 words per line. For them, it would take about 25 lines to reach 300 word count. Of course, I wrote cursive with big loopy letters so they averaged about 7 words per line - so they needed 40-45 lines to reach 300 word count.

winterunderthewillow: Wow! Thank you.
