In alternate positions that means one Nepalese and one Indian and so on. As shown in the figure I represents Indian stand N represents Nepalese.

So in the question as they gave that no Indians should sit together first arrange all the napaleans in a round table in (4-1)!=3! Ways. And in remaining 5 places 4indian would sit in 5p4 ways...... So total ways is 3!*5p4 ways
