imagine that there r 3 boxes
without replaceent
we can add any 1 of the 18 in first box and for the second box the total will be 17 as we have put one ball in the first one and then the second one we can add 16
so 18 x 17 x 16

with replacement
we can add any one of 18 balls into any boxes as they r replaced
so 18 x 18 x 18
5832 ways
