In how many ways can a convex polygon with 12 sides cut into triangles by connecting vertices with non-crossing line segments?

The angles of a triangle add up to 180 deg. So from each vertex of the 12-sided convex polygon you can draw lines to the other vertices (or cut the convex polygon) to form 1800/180 = 10 non-intersecting triangles.
