we can classify matter by its physical and chemical properties

by physical property we can classify matter into three groups:

  1. solid- table, soap
  2. liquid- water, milk
  3. gas- oxygen, water vapour

by chemical properties we can classify matter into two groups:

  1. pure substance - iron, oxygen

we can further divide it in two groups:

  • elements
  • compounds

2. Mixture (impure substance)-

tea, sugarcane juice.

we can further divide it as:

  • homogenous
  • heterogeneous

hope it will help you
