ᴄᴏʀʀᴇᴄᴛ Qᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :

In how many years will ₹ 900 yeild an interest of ₹ 324 at 12% per annum simple interest ?

Gɪᴠᴇɴ :

P = ₹900

R = 12 %

S.I. = ₹324

T = ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :

Here P = ₹ 900, R = 12 % p.a, S.i = ₹ 324

Using the formula,

S.I =  \dfrac{P \times R \times T}{100}

We get ,

 ⇒324 =  \dfrac{900 \times 12 \times T}{100}

⇒324 = 108 \: T

⇒T =  \dfrac{324}{108}  = 3 \: years

Мσяє ƒσямυℓυє :

⇒ \: S.I =  \dfrac{P \times R \times T}{100}

⇒P =  \dfrac{100 \times S.I}{R\times T}

⇒R =  \dfrac{100 \times S.I}{P \times R}

⇒T =  \dfrac{100 \times S.I}{p \times R}
