Answer :-

・ Time = 4 years

Given :-

✧ Principal (P) = Rs. 500

✧ Rate of Interest (R) = 5%

✧ Amount (A) = Rs. 600

To find :-

◍ Time (T)

Formula used :-

 \mapsto \tt{Simple\:\: Interest = \dfrac{Principal \times Rate \: \: of \: \: interest \times Time}{100} } \\ \\ \mapsto \tt{Simple \: \: Interest (S.I.) = Amount - Principal}

Solution :-

Finding Simple interest,

S.I. = Amount - Principal

S.I. = Rs. 600 - Rs. 500

S.I. = Rs. 100

Now, we will substitute the values of P, R and S.I. in simple interest formula. By this we will get time.

 \longrightarrow\tt{S.I. = \dfrac{PRT}{100} } \\  \\ \longrightarrow\tt{ \dfrac{S.I. \times 100}{PR} =T}\\  \\ \longrightarrow\tt{T  = \dfrac{100 \times 100}{500 \times 5}}\\  \\ \longrightarrow\tt{T  = \dfrac{10000}{2500}}\\  \\ \longrightarrow\tt{T  =4}

Time (T) = 4 years

More Information :-

• Rate of interest = (Simple interest × 100)/ (Principal × Time)

• Principal = (Simple interest × 100)/ (Rate of interest × Time)

• Time = (Simple interest × 100)/ (Rate of interest × Principal)

• Amount = Simple interest + Principal

Answer:

Question⤵

➡In how many years Rs. 500 will be Rs.

600 with the simple interest 5%.

Answer⤵

➡In 4 years Rs. 500 will be Rs.

600 with the simple interest 5%.

Given⤵

➡ Principal (P) =Rs.500

➡ Amount (A) =Rs.600

➡ Rate(R) =5%

To find ⤵

➡Time (T)

Formula used ⤵

⚫Simple interest= (Principal×Rate×Time) /100

⚫Amount=Principal+Simple interest

Solution⤵

➡Firstly we had to find Simple interest

⚫Simple interest=Amount-Principal

➡S. I. =Rs.600-Rs.500

➡S. I. =Rs.100

➡Now we have to substitute the value of P, R, S. I. in Simple interest formula then we have,

⚫S. l. =PRT/100

➡T=(S.I.×100) /PR

➡T= (100×100)/(500×5)

➡T=10000/2500

➡T=4Years

➡Time (T) = 4years.

Some extra formula⤵

⚫Principal=(S.I.×100) /RT

⚫Rate=(S.I.×100) /PT

⚫Time=(S.I.×100) /PR

Hope this is helpful to you!
