Step-by-step explanation:

We know,Simple interest(S.I.) = P×R×T/100

and Amount(A) = P+S.I.

Here,P = Principal = ₹1450

R = Rate of interest = 8% per annum

A = ₹2146

T = ?

Put the given values in the above mentioned formula of Amount(A).

=> ₹2146 = ₹1450 + (1450 × 8 × T)/100

=>2146 - 1450 = (11600 × T )/100

=> 696 = 116T

=> 696/116 = T

=>T = 6 years ans.
