As we know

A=P(1+R/100)^9

676 = 625( \times 1 +  \frac{r}{100} ) ^{2}  \\

 \frac{676}{625} = (1 +  \frac{r}{100} ) ^{2}  \\

 ( \frac{26}{25} )^{2}  = ( \frac{100 + r}{100} ) ^{2}  \\

26 \times 100 = 2500 + 25r \\

25r = 2600 - 2500

r =  \frac{100}{25}  \\ = 4
