Answer:

Whenever the CI is calculated semi-annually Then, The Rate is halved and time is doubled

Let the time be n years

So, R=10/2 Amount = Rs. 926.10 Principal = Rs. 800

= 5%

T= 2 x n = 2n years

A=P(1 +R/200)^2n

926.10 = 800(1+10/200)^2n

926.10/800 = (21/20)^2n

(21/20)^3 = (21/20)^2n

Here, 2n = 3

n =3/2

n = 1.5 years
