Given :   Sum = Rs 1000  becomes Rs 1300 at 6 % per annum

To Find : in How many years

Solution:

Using SI ( Simple interest )

P = 1000 Rs

R = 6 % per annum

T = ?

A = 1300

SI = A - P  = 1300 - 1000 = 300

SI = P * R * T/100

=> 300 = 1000 x 6 x T /100

=> T = 5

in 5 years Rs 1000 Becomes Rs 1300 at 6% per annum
