GIVEN,

Principal=6000, amount=8160, rate=8%p.a.

TO FIND,

Time in which P=6000 will become A=8160

SOLUTION,

As we know,

Amount= Principal+ SI

SI= Amount- Principal\\\\SI=8160-6000\\\\SI= 2160\\

Now we know the formula for SI, that is-

SI=\frac{P*R*T}{100} \\

where P=principal, R=rate of interest, T=time

now substituting the values in the formula we get,

SI= \frac{6000*8*T}{100} \\\\2160= \frac{48000*T}{100} \\\\2160*100= 48000*T\\\\T= \frac{216000}{48000} \\\\T=4.5 years.

HENCE IN TIME= 4.5 YEARS, THE PRINCIPAL ₹6000 WILL AMOUNT TO ₹8160.
