The power of a bulb is defined as the energy consumed per unit time.

Mathematically it can be written as -

                         power=\frac{Energy}{time\ of\ consumption}

                                i.e\ P=\frac{E}{t}

We have P = 100 watt

               E= 2 kWh

                 =2*10^{3}watt\ hour

We are asked to calculate the time of consumption.

The time of consumption  t\ =\ \frac{E}{P}

                                                 =\frac{2*10^3\ watt.hour}{100\ watt}

                                                 =20\ hour     [ans]
