Hi ,
let the principal ( P ) = Rs x
rate of interest per year = R = 10 %
Amount = A = 1.5 times of principal
A = Rs1.5 x
Time = T
we know that
A = P ( 1 + RT /100 )
substitute the given values
1.5 x = x ( 1 + 10 × T /100 )
15x /10 = x ( 1 + T /10 )
⇒ 15x /10 = x/10 × ( 10 +T )
⇒ (15x / 10 ) × ( 10 / x ) = 10 + T
⇒ 15 = 10 + T
⇒ 15 - 10 = T
⇒ 5 = T
Therefore ,
T = 5 years
i hope this will useful to you.
