In how much time would the simple interest on

SI = 0.125 = (125/1000) x P => 1/8 P.

R = 10% p.a

T = SI x 100/P x R

=> (100 x P/8) / P x 8

=> 10/8 = 5/4

Therefore, T = 5/4 years
