In human beings, a downward pointed frontal hairline (widows peak) is heritable trait. A person with a widows peak always has at least one parent who also has this trait, whereas people with straight frontal hairline may occur in families in which one or even both parents have widows peaks. When both parents have a straight frontal hairline, all children also have a straight hairline. Using A and a to symbolize alleles for this trait, what is the genotype of an individual without a widow's peak? ( Show your reasoning)

Answer:

aa

Explanation:

from the question we can say that having widows peak is the dominant trait having genotype AA or Aa. but when both the parents have straight frontline that is without widows peak they are recessive having genotype aa so their child will also have genotype aa and is without widows peak
