Answer:

Tongue rolling is said to be an autosomal trait. An autosomal trait is an attribute that is not dependent on the gender of the carrier. Here, a male who can roll his tongue is married to a female who cannot. They have four children out of which only one daughter can roll her tongue. This daughter is then married to a male who cannot role his tongue. None of their offsprings have this trait of moving their language. This is the pedigree analysis of the family, and it is so because of the parents and the grandparent's autosomal traits.
